You can program a schedule that changes the system from day service to night service and back to day service as required.
The night service schedule that you have programmed for the system is maintained after a system reboot.
The night service schedule that was in effect before a scheduled or unscheduled system reboot is maintained after the system reboots.
If tenanting is configured on the switch, only the Landlord or Default Tenant is allowed to disable or enable the night service mode. The Landlord or Default Tenant must disable or enable night service mode from a console or designated set within that default tenant group.
For an alternate method to switch the system between night and day service that includes a calendar with provision for holidays, see Scheduling Events.
See Programmed Service.
Use the Programmed Service maintenance command to program the night service schedule, and to activate or deactivate the night service schedule. You can also activate or de-activate the night service mode from a designated set or console (see Night Service for details).
