Individual or Batch Line Quality Test

To run the tests:

  1. Ensure that you have configured the system to support testing. See

  2. Configure System for Testing_using_Central_Office_Numbers

  3. Configure System for Testing_using_Loopback

  1. Access the Line Quality Measurement form.

  2. Click Run Test.

  3. Select the Test Type. To test a single trunk select Individual Line then select the PLID of the trunk. To run the test on all the eligible LS trunks in the system, select Batch Line.  The PLID field is disabled.

    1. Note: The test may take up to 12 minutes to return results depending on the number of configured lines.

  1. If the test is successful, the test results are displayed in the bottom frame of the form. See Line Quality Measurement for details.

  2. Enter the recommended Balanced Network Setting and Trunk Category in the Analog Trunks form.

  3. If the test fails, an error message is displayed. See Error_Messages.
