Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR) records details of all calls that are made from or received at an extension or console. SMDR records can be regular or extended. A regular record shows the first eight digits of the extension's trunk calls. An extended record shows up to 12 digits.
The MLPP Precedence Digit is recorded in the MLPP Call Priority Level column of SMDR records (column 90 of Regular Format records, column 101 of Extended Digit Format records) Valid Precedence Digits are as shown in the following table:

Also, when a call is terminated because of MLPP preemption, the character "P" is added to the Call Completion Status column of SMDR records (column 60 of Regular Format SMDR records, and column 65 of Extended Digit Format records).

The following figure provides an example of the SMDR printout for a call made on June 13 at 11:42, when extension 214 dialed 555-2101 on trunk equipment number 54 and talked for 4 minutes, 29 seconds. The precedence level was Flash Override (0). Regular record SMDR was enabled.
If extended SMDR were enabled, the precedence digit would be in column 101, and the printout would appear as shown in the following figure.
The following figure provides an example of the SMDR printout for a call received on January 30 at 3:10, when incoming direct-inward-dial trunk number 102 rang extension 201. The extension answered after 8 seconds, and the conversation lasted for 1 minute, 52 seconds. The precedence level was Flash (1). Regular record SMDR was enabled.
