A linked suite consists of a number of suites that are interconnected dynamically based on common check in (see Linked Suite). All billing for a Linked Suite is maintained under one account through PMS. A single hotel/motel room can be included in a Linked Suite only when the room is configured as a suite.
For billing purposes, Linked Suite Services support the dynamic association of 2 to 32 suites. For billing and shared telephone service, Linked Suite Services supports the dynamic association of 2 to 4 suites. Linked Suites operate with or without shared telephone services.
Linked Suite Services includes the following features:
Linked Suite Pilot Number: A number that identifies a Linked Suite for billing, shared telephone services, and Linked Suite management purposes. Outgoing call behavior is not associated with this number.
Member Suite: Any suite associated with a Linked Suite
Primary Member Suite: The first configured Member Suite is automatically identified as the Primary Member Suite. The configuration of the Primary Member Suite controls the call behavior of the Linked Suite.
Note: You can use Flexible Dimensioning to increase the maximum number of suites and linked suites that the system supports. Refer to Change Resource Dimensions for instructions.
Linked Suite Services supports
Linked Suite messaging (requires shared telephone service).
