Printing Form Data

The following print functionality is available for most forms in the System Administration Tool:

To print form data

  1. If you want to print the data for a single record, click the record. To print a selection of records, click the first record that you want your selection to start with.

  2. Click Print.

  3. Choose the print range:

  4. Click All to print all the records in the upper information frame

  5. Click Selected Record to print the data for a single record from the lower frame.

  6. Click Current Page to print the records in the currently displayed page

  7. Click Pages and enter the page number or page range, for example 5-12.

  8. Click Next "N" records and enter the number of records (1 to 999) beginning from the currently selected record. This option is only available in forms that contain large lists, such as the Telephone Directory or Multiline IP Sets forms. The maximum number of records that you can print is 999.

  1. Set the desired print details (enabled by default)

  2. Include Time Stamp to add the current date and time to the printout. The date and time is printed at the top of the printout in the following format: hhmmddMM  (24-hour time followed by day and month).

  3. Include System Name to add the system name at the top of the printout.

  1. Click Preview. The print format will be displayed in a Preview screen. If all the data cannot be shown on a single page, the preview will display samples of the data from the start and end of the selection.

CAUTION: Depending on the amount and type of data being previewed, there could be a significant delay before the preview screen is displayed. While data is being retrieved from the system database, other users cannot access or use the Desktop Tool, the Group Administration Tool or the System Administration Tool.

  1. Click Print. Your computer's default printer dialog box will open.

  2. Set the printer options, such as the page layout, in your computer's printer dialog box.

  3. Click Print.
