Conference lets you connect three or more people into a single telephone conversation. While you are in a Conference, you can use any of the features that would normally be available during a two-party call.
Up to eight people are allowed in a single conference call.
The maximum number of conferences that a system can accommodate depends upon the number of people in each conference and the platform type.

When the maximum is 64 people, you can have 8 conferences of 8 parties, 21 conferences of 3 parties, or a combination between. When the maximum is 9 people, you can have 3 conferences of 3 parties, 2 conferences of 4 parties, or 1 conference of 8 parties. With 30 maximum participants, you can have 10 conferences of 3 parties, 5 conferences of 6 parties, or any combination in between.
All trunks with the Public Trunk COS option set to "Yes" are recognized as CO trunks and, therefore, are subject to the Maximum Number of CO Trunks in Conference system option.
Any member of a Conference can add another party to the Conference; however, only one party can be added to the Conference at a time.
An ACD Agent who is being Silent Monitored cannot be added to a conference.
Note: Each time Record-A-Call is invoked, one three-party conference is consumed.
Enable Conference Call in the Class of Service Options form. If desired, Set Disable Conference Join Tone to "Yes" to disable the tone that users hear when a conference call is established.
Enable Public Network to Public Network Connection Allowed in the Class of Service Options form if a user is allowed to release from a Conference that consists of CO trunks only.
Enable Interconnect Checking for Conference Calls in the System Options form if interconnect restrictions are to apply to the Conference.
