Trunk Answer From Any Station (TAFAS) lets you answer any call that rings a night bell. Once you answer the call, you can use any of the features that are normally available at the station.
You cannot use TAFAS when you have a party on Consultation Hold.
Interconnect restrictions apply to TAFAS.
If another user answers a TAFAS call, you will hear reorder tone when you attempt to answer the call.
Ensure that TAFAS stations have access to the incoming trunks in the Interconnect Restriction Table.
Assign a Night Bell directory number in the System Access Points form.
Assign a code to Trunk Answer From Any Station (TAFAS) if you intend to use a feature access code in Operation in the Feature Access Codes form.
Program a Night Answer key if you intend to use a feature key in Operation in the Multiline Set Keys form or use Superkey (see Feature Keys for more information on Superkey programming).
