Ensure that:
A BRI Network Services Unit and a Universal Network Services Unit are programmed
Interconnect Restriction and Intercept Handling are programmed for each trunk.
The local carrier service can support 64 Kbps data calls.
Note: For video conferencing over a BRI interface, the central office (CO) must support 64 Kbps clear channel data calls.
To program BRI trunks:

Enter "A" or "B" in the Address for Message Control
field.
Enter "DPNSS" in the Integrated Digital Access field.

Complete the Digital Link Descriptor Number field.
Class
of Service Options form
Set the ANI/DNIS ISDN Number Delivery Trunk field to "Yes".

II Trunk Circuit Descriptors form
Enter "MSDN-DPNSS" in the Signaling Protocol field, "CEPT"
in the Card Type field, "Incoming" or "Outgoing" (depending
upon your system) in the Dual Seizure Priority field, "LT" for
NA, or either "LT" or "NT" for EMEAAP in the BRI Mode
field, and "Local Office" in the Far End Connection field.

Complete the COS number.
Set the Dial in Trunks: Incoming Digit Modification field to "absorb".

Complete the Trunk Number, Trunk Service Number, Circuit Descriptor,
and Interconnect Number fields.
Network
Synchronization form (optional)
Assign a source connection to a Network Source Clock.
The system programming is now complete. The BRI NSU must now be programmed.
Connect a computer to the RS-232 port on the BRI NSU.
Follow the Quick Setup instructions as required.
Complete specific programming for BRI.
Log off after all programming is complete.
Detach the computer from the port.
