A system administrator can select an ESM record, copy the data to a new or existing record, make changes to the data, and then commit the new or modified record to the database.
For example, you can create a new class of service by copying an existing COS with many of the required settings, making minor changes, and then saving these settings as a new COS.
Note: The members of a record are not copied, only the form's data.
To copy information from an existing form record A to a new record, B:
Select record A.
Click Copy.
In the Copy window, enter the identifier for record B.
Make any necessary edits to the content in the Copy window.
Click Save.
Copying Form Data can be used in the following forms:
Hunt Groups (Note: You can only copy resilient hunt group data from the primary controller)
