Ensure that:
A T1/E1 Combo Module, Dual T1/E1 Framer Module, or Universal Network Services Unit is programmed. Refer to Program an NSU or Program Controller Modules for more information.
Interconnect Restriction and Intercept Handling is programmed for each trunk.

Note: MSDN/DPNSS is not supported for T1/E1 trunks connected to T1/E1 Dual Framer modules.
To program T1/D4 trunks:

Link Descriptors form
Enter "T1D4" in the Integrated Digital Access field.
T1 supports CSU mode and DSX-1 mode.

Enter the digital link descriptor number programmed in step 1.
Class
of Service Options form
Set the ANI/DNIS ISDN Number Delivery Trunk field to "Yes"
(if provided).
Complete one of the following:

Enter the COS number programmed in step 3.
Complete the Non-dial in Trunks Answer Point fields (CO and E&M).
Complete the Dial in Trunks: Incoming Digit Modification fields (DID).

Enter a Trunk Number, Trunk Service Number (from step 5), Circuit Descriptor
(from step 4), and Interconnect Number.
Network
Synchronization form (optional)
Assign a source connection to a Network Source Clock.

Groups form
For outgoing trunks, assign the trunk number (from step 6) to a trunk
group.
