The following applies to both standalone and clustered hospitality environments. See Related Topics below for additional programming requirements for clustered hospitality.
To program the Hotel/Motel feature:
Hotel
Options form,
Choose the options required for the site. This is a single version
form which lists all the options specific to a hotel environment.
Guest Rooms form
Enter the directory numbers of telephones used as a guest room extensions.
Note: For sites that use a Property Management System, ensure that directory numbers are five or fewer digits in length. The 3300 ICP does not validate DNs for correct length.
Class of Service Options form, set the following fields to YES:
Hotel Room Monitor Setup Allowed
Hotel Room Monitoring Allowed (for each console, line, or trunk used as a room monitor listener device).
Feature Access Codes form, program the following feature access codes (if required):
Hotel/Motel Room Monitor Setup and Hotel/Motel Room Monitor Listen (for the room monitor feature)
Hotel Wake-up Call from Guest Extension and Hotel Wake-up Call from Guest Extension - Cancel (for automatic wake-up calls).
Complete the appropriate Automatic Route Selection forms for the Call Restriction feature.
System Ports form, enter port names for the printers used to generate hotel logs and reports.
Application Logical Ports form, enter the printer name at which hotel logs and reports are to be printed. See Programming printer ports for system and local printers.
Program the RAD if it will be used to deliver a recorded message to a wake-up call.
Note: If you are using LPR1, you must direct the output to one of the serial ports on the back of the server by using the Log Output Manager. Hotel logs can printed through the Log Output Manager. If you are using a network printer, see Printer Setup for configuration information.
