Hold

Description:

Hold lets you temporarily suspend a telephone call. While the call is on Hold, you can use other telephone features. The call can be either retrieved at the telephone that placed the call on Hold or at another telephone.

Operation

2500 and SUPERSET 401 telephones:

To place a call on Hold:

  1. Flash the switchhook or press Flash.

  2. Dial the Call Hold Feature Access code.

To retrieve a call from Hold:

  1. Lift the handset.

  2. Dial the Call Hold - Retrieve Feature Access code.

To retrieve a call from Hold at another station:

  1. Lift the handset.

  2. Dial the Call Hold - Remote Retrieve Feature Access code.

  3. Dial the number of the station that placed the call on Hold.

SUPERSET 401+, SUPERSET 4001 telephones; 5001 IP Phone and 5201 IP Phone:

  1. Lift the handset.

  2. Press the flashing line key.

  1. Press FCT.

  2. Press # until HOLD is displayed.

  3. Press END.

To Retrieve a call on Hold:

  1. Press FCT.

  2. Press # until OFF HOLD is displayed.

  3. Press END.

Symbol MiNET Wireless Phone:

To place a call on Hold:

  1. Press FCT.

  2. Press down arrow key until HOLD is displayed.

  3. Press the End Key.

To Retrieve a call on Hold:

  1. Press FCT.

  2. Press down arrow key until OFF HOLD is displayed.

  3. Press the End Key.

To place a call on Hold:

  1. Short press of the key.

  2. Press to select Hold.

  3. Press OK.

To retrieve a call from Hold ("Call Hold Retrieve with Hold Key" must be enabled in the Class of Service of the OP27 phone).

  1. Short press of the key.

  2. Press to select Hold.

  3. Press OK. The call that was on hold is retrieved.

To retrieve a call from Hold at another station:

  1. Press to obtain dial tone.

  2. Dial the Call Hold - Remote Retrieve Feature Access code.

  3. Dial the number of the station that placed the call on Hold.

To place a call on Hold:

To retrieve a call from Hold:

  1. Press LINE. The Line number of the call on hold is shown at the top of the display.

  2. Dial the line number (shortcut key) of the line appearance.

To retrieve a call from Hold at another station:

  1. Press key.

  2. Dial the Call Hold Remote Retrieve feature access code and the number of the station that placed the call on Hold.
